Laxian Key (page 8)

Squaring the Circle...

Question:  Too biased. The Israelis might go for it - the novelty alone makes it an idea worth exploring. Not so the Palestinians - and with some justification. Yes, this might lock down the violence - and appreciably so - but to what end? To preserve the status quo? To stifle any movement towards change or progress? Not entirely a welcome outcome where Palestinian interests are concerned.

Answer:  The answer, apparently, is to acknowledge the objection and offer to take the system 'off-line' for one or two months. In that time-slot, the whole question might then be readily referred back to the field of battle - if calmer counsels have not prevailed in the interval.

Many thanks for your appreciation, Frank. I can only hope that the KEY will result in an end to the Israeli-Palestinain conflict and all such others thereafter.

I follow along on the comments in the Haaretz, and I appreciate your effort in educating the dogmatic Israelis from the far right. Keep up the good work.

The difference with the KEY, Clif, is that it is autonomous, the benefits that humanity would derive from its use making it the go-to formula in ANY conflict.

You have an interesting concept, but given that the United Nations was created to perform a similar function...well, it hasn't worked. Power prevails.
